About The Group
The Group is an architecture firm located in San Francisco, California. Branching from Jennings Ackerley Architecture + Design, The Group was formed to create coherent solutions to everyday design problems for retail spaces, colleges and universities, courthouses, and everything in-between. With a collaborative team comprised of several different backgrounds, every unique design is overlaid with thought, passion, and beauty to create a memorable environment for users of every generation.
Project Types
The Group is skilled to take on any type of project including, but not limited to, urban planning, civic structures, institutional buildings, residential communities, urban infill, and educational facilities. In addition, we take on fabrication projects and are available for prototyping.
Historical Note
576 Sacramento Street, the current home of The Group, was formerly occupied by Sunset Magazine between 1934 and 1951.
